Free Iron Filters

(A and AM Beds)

Once installed, the chemical free iron

filter requires little or no attention. It

automatically removes soluble iron,

sometimes called ferrous iron or

"clear water", precipitated iron,

sometimes called ferric iron or "red

water" and bacterial iron. It is safe

and very economical because it

requires none of the expensive or

messy chemicals conventional iron

filters use.

Unpleasant tastes and odors caused

by chlorine or organic substances,

such as decayed vegetation and run-

off, are adsorbed by top quality

activated carbon. The filter will

automatically backwash to a

predetermined schedule using a

calendar clock controlled valve. This

frees the bed of accumulated

impurities and readies it for operation

again.

Neutralizing Filters

Neutralizing filters use a special media

which raises the pH of acidic water

and neutralizes its corrosive

characteristics. In addition to

protecting pipes, plumbing fixtures and

appliances, this filter also facilitates

the removal of iron and manganese by

raising the pH. This enables an iron

filter to be used. Periodic backwashing

cleans the bed.

Turbidity (Multi-Media)

Filters

Our turbidity filters use multiple

medias to trap suspended particulate

matter, such as clay and silt, which

gives water a cloudy appearance. The

result is clean, clear water. The multi-

media filter bed facilitates more

thorough backwashing and prevents

channeling. Periodic backwashing with

our calendar clock control valves

cleans the bed.

TwinFlo 100e

Valve Softeners

The TwinFlo softeners provide an

uninterrupted supply of soft water,

twenty-four hours a day. The

system uses two mineral tanks. One

is standby while the other tank is in

service until depleted. At this point,

the tank in standby switches to

service while the depleted tank

regenerates.

ProFlo Valve Softeners

ProFlo valve softeners benefit from

reduced pressure drops through the

UV BigBoy™ Series

The UV BigBoy™ Series is the most

versatile commercial ultraviolet

disinfection system on the market today.

This 15 to 60 GPM series is

manufactured with versatility in mind,

and is virtually unlimited in the possible

filter configurations and manifold

sequences. The series is designed with

the same traditional style that Pura has

made an industry standard - worldwide.

One advantage of the UV BigBoy™

Series is the convenient manifold

mounting rack. The rack can be used to

configure up to four UV chambers in

parallel or in series. This allows the user

to achieve either a higher UV dosage or

higher flow rate (up to 60 GPM). This

mounting rack configuration provides

easy access for cleaning and

maintenance to the individual units

without the need to shut down the

entire water distribution line. The

UV1-EPCB Series™

patented All-In-One concept. This product

UV Addon Series™

PURA® Product's UV ADDON Series™ is

designed to be an easy addition to water

treatment systems that require

ultraviolet disinfection (RO systems,

holding tanks, water dispensers,

recirculating systems and more). The

"ADDON" systems are available with a 1

GPM or 3 GPM flow rate. They are

constructed using a 304 grade stainless

steel body with a molded head that

includes 3/8" quick connect fittings on

the inlet/outlet. This versatile system

also includes a heavy duty mounting

bracket, but will also fit standard 2"
